Great White Way goes Green

Henry Miller's Theater is the first theatre to be built on Broadway in 20 years. And it's first green one! According to the New York Times, "Recycled materials were used in the wall panels and baseboard; waterless urinals are used in the men’s washroom to reduce consumption of potable water; and local materials were used in the marble flooring and countertops, among other touches."

It is set to open in September with a Bye Bye Birdie revival from Roundabout.

The theatre is located on 43rd st. between Broadway and Avenue of the Americas.
