"Stone Soup" helps the community

Stone Soup is a musical that is staged by Literally Alive Theatre and is running at The Players Theatre in New York City until November 5. The musical is about two soldiers during the Revolutionary War who seek food and shelter in a village but instead encounter villagers who are unwilling to share what they have. The production itself is giving back to people, however, recently teaming up with God's Love We Deliver, an organization that helps ensure the health and nutrition of people with serious illnesses and are unable to prepare their own meals by providing them with food. The cast is volunteering in the organization's kitchen, and audiences are encouraged to bring canned food, to be donated to the organization, when they watch a performance
