Here Lies Love

Yesterday, April 9th, NYC's The Public Theatre announced their line-up for the 2012-2013 season. Included in that line up is the world premiere of Here Lies Love, a musical about former Philippine First Lady and shoe collector, Imelda Marcos. The upcoming musical, slated for April 2 to May 5, 2013, is a collaboration between David Byrne and Fatboy Slim. Above is a sample of the music with vocals provided by Florence Welch (yes, of Florence and the Machine!). Listening to the music, I am eagerly anticipating this!
